Scott and I went with Erik and Charlie to the Polar Express steam train in old Sacramento. It was a one hour ride dedicated to the Pixar production with Tom Hanks, so all the kids were in pajamas and there was "hot, hot, hot, hot chocolate" singing and a visit with Santa Claus. It was a lot of fun and I was impressed at how effortlessly the steam locomotive pulled us.

Danny,
We were so happy that you and Erik got to take Charlie and Scott for this special "Polar Express" train ride. It was definitely the highlight of the holiday season for the boys. Never got to really play trains with the girls and we're having so much fun with Scott and Tyler playing with Thomas and his Friends and watching the big trains toot, whistle and chug around the Christmas tree.
Love, Grandma and Pop
That is so cute--pajamas and everything. It looks like you had a lot of fun (for Scott AND for you!) I love that your pictures capture the true emotion of the moment; the expressions on people's faces aren't just plastic smiles for the camera. I wish I could snap more pictures like that.
