Swim season 2021
This year, Covid cases have calmed down enough that swim meets are resuming. I went with Hanna to both the Wednesday night and Saturday morning meets. It was awesome! It's like Covid isn't even a thing anymore. I really like the 5d mkiv and 70-200L 2.8. I've had to experiment with the servo focusing vs. one-shot. I prefer one shot but the action is too fast in the pool, so I used the servo AI. I know some are blurry but that was because of the one-shot setting. I was at the end of the pool and thought I was all the way zoomed in, when I was zoomed out the whole way. Even shooting on medium resolution, you can zoom all the way in to see Parker's dive, in which he's the last one off the blocks. But at least his form is good. Our team isn't very fast but the kids are having a good time. So far no kid has had a meltdown on the blocks. Yay for swim team! And yay for paparazzi lens! Okay, bye.
