Scott's birthday

Scott turned six on Saturday.  I was worried that because Heidi and I were in the hospital that he would have a lousy day.  It turns out he had a fabulous day!

Then on Sunday, they had another party for Scott while Heidi and I were in the hospital with Tyler.

Thanks for watching the kiddos!

It was a good birthday.  Turns out that one of his friends also had a birthday on Saturday and had a huge party at Pump It Up, a gallery with inflatable toys.  After that, we had taco's at Pop's and played Wii.  Scott wasn't too pleased that I knew how to do Mario Kart.  Thanks to my training at the racetrack with Miles, I know how to swing wide, then cut sharp.

Happy 6th Birthday Scott! He wanted to share his Birthday with everyone so Grandma & Scott did our share of baking for 3 days. Scott had fun decorating with icing, sprinkles and candy. Friday... 30 cupcakes for his kindergarten class, Saturday...1dozen for his basketball team and Sunday...1 dozen for his class at church. He was so happy each time to share his cupcakes with all his friends! For our Sunday family party he wanted to make something really special besides his Super Mario Cake that Pop was making. He made Brownie Lollipops decorated with sprinkles and was so happy he found the pan at Michael's after seeing it on a TV commercial.
