The camp really couldn't have been any nicer. It was situated on the perfect size lot, that included everything from mini-golf, swimming, volleyball, archery, a ropes course (that wasn't available), redwoods, beautiful cabins, ping-pong and so much more. What really made it special were the people we met and friendships we made. It truly was a magical weekend. I sadly have no pictures of our amazing race flintstone car that we made and actually led us to victory. It fell apart about 5 minutes into the race. It was absolute chance we won a very elaborate race including karoake station, stilts, mini-golf, swimming, deep-sea diving, ice-cream eating and huge volleyball walk (all with twists). It was so fun. We got the coolest prize of cold-stone and about 8 really nice and fun board games. They should have divided up the games. We won because we happened to get the shortest lines.
Can you beleive our rooms?? We couldn't. They were so nice.
The kids loved playing with all the balls. It was cute.
Swimming with my boys, hanging with my boys, loving being a mom. I just feel so blessed.
They had a great fair the last day with face-painting, shaved ice, activities and games. Great way to celebrate the weekend and these kids! Tyler and I enjoying our shaved ice, while Little Tyler goes fishing. It was such a HOT weekend which I actually enjoyed. Little Tyler had some red cheeks the whole weekend. He overheats sometimes.
Tyler and Tyler. Two amazing heart kids. One of the coolest experiences for me was to see heart kids as young adults. They have been through so much and are all such amazing individuals.
Having fun with a centipede we found. The boys loved it.
Camp-Fire. They had the coolest area for a campfire. All the kids had light toys and it was such a fun evening.

This looks like such a cool camp! I love how you are mentioning these older heart kids. What huge examples of hope!
That is awesome!! I'm glad you had a great time! Can anyone go to Camp Taylor? I guess if we're over in Palo Alto waiting for a heart next year, maybe we can go?!
It's good to see Tyler looking so great!
How special! Love all the pictures. What an amazing camp.
Heidi,

Heidi,
Looks like you had an amazing time. Our support group (Intermountain Healing Hearts) is having a heart camp this summer in Utah. We'd love any suggestions you have to contribute!
