McMillan Christmas Letter

Dear Family and Friends,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We have so much to be thankful for as we reflect upon our Savior this holiday season and blessings of 2007. Here is an update on the CA McMillans...

Danny continues to be the husband and father of many traits and talents. He loves dentistry and had a tremendous year of growth as an associate. After a year of working under many dentists, he is finally settled into 3 great practices. He joined a photo club & loves snapping “pics from the didge.” He and Scott continue to work on cars together, play with trains and perfect their Spanish.

Heidi has the best of both worlds as a stay-at-home mom by day and swim coach by night for the Walnut Creek Aquabears. There is never a dull moment with the 9-12 year old swimmers. She enjoys scrapbooking, hanging out with other moms, and dreams of getting a good nap in her non-existent spare time with her boys.

Scott is a boy who loves trains, planes and automobiles. His favorite words are “WOOAAA!” referring to anything cool, “truck” referring to all things with wheels, “baby” referring to his adorable brother, “gigi” referring to his binky and “MOM!!” referring to anyone who can help him get down from tall structures he tried to conquer. He is a great big brother, loving, fun and understands Spanish and English, just doesn’t speak it yet. Toddlers are so fun!

Tyler Anthony is our greatest blessing of the year. I was induced due to high blood pressure and Tyler was born 3 hours later on September 4th weighing 7lbs 12 oz, 21 ½”. He was pre-diagnosed with disproportionate AV canal/HLHS, the most severe congenital heart defect. He underwent open-heart surgery when he was 8 days old at UCSF and has been doing great since with the exception of a few minor bumps in the road here and there. He has a second of three open-heart surgeries planned for the week of January 21st. He has been a blessing to so many and constant reminder of faith, hope and love to all. We are so grateful for the love, support and prayers of our friends and family. Your prayers for Tyler, my mom who was diagnosed with CLL, a form of Leukemia, and sister who was diagnosed with Mastocytosis, a rare blood disorder, have been felt. We wish you all a very merry holiday season and Happy New Year!!

Love, The McMillans
