Tyler was smiling today, though this picture doesn't capture it. I rode the VFR to SF tonight and Janet greeted me as she was leaving her shift. She said, "Tyler has quite a set of lungs." I was like, "You guys need to wear ear plugs. But at least it's a sign that he's doing well when he complains."
They removed his chest tubes, foot IV, pacemaker leads, and oxygen cannula. All he has is one IV in his wrist and it looks like we're at the beginning of the end. Go, Mr. T!

Awesome!!! Such great news. Go Tyler! And that picture is so cute of both he and Heidi. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, thank you for updating! I was starting to get worried b/c you guys hadn't posted in a couple of days. I'm so glad he's gotten so many tubes and such out. But that pic of his sad little face breaks my heart! I can't imagine what he is going thru. We are praying our guts out for you all!
YEAH for less tubes!! Down to one IV sounds amazing! It is so interesting to me to see how different hospitals handle post op procedures so differently. I hope that this is the beginning of the end and that home is in sight!
Wow! I'm so grateful that he's doing so well. WHat a miracle!
