Tyler's Update

Tylers cardiology appt went well. His sats were 93 which are good for him. His tricuspid valve has minor leakage which is also good. The best news is that the concern for aorta coarc and PA stenosis don't seem significant enough at this point to intevene. Dr. Azakie told us there was no stenosis when he went into operate, but tests came back stating otherwise. Unless the cardiac cath surgeon decides otherwise, we will probably be surgery free for now. All I need to do now is get on the ball and get labs done to check his liver counts, which I think will come back alright since he has good color. Overall, they are very pleased with how he is doing. He continues to gain weight although he's still very small. Little by little. He is responding so much more, looking around, laughing and smiling which is so fun to see. Amazing he is the same Tyler from 4 months ago that was crying and in so much pain with his liver. WE are soooo grateful he is feeling better..
We're still waiting for the Physical therapists to come help Tyler and get him going. Due to the delay, Danny has made up his own program and tells me everyday how well Tyler is doing on Dannys PT program. This is one of the milestones that Danny has achieved with Tyler. Tyler is able to bear his weight on his legs while balancing on Dannys hands. Have to love it. Our little cheerleader in training. Danny did do one year of cheerleading in college and mentioned how difficult it was lifting the girls up on one hand. Maybe he is perfecting his moves with our sons
am impressed. Life is great. We are blessed and so grateful our little man is doing so well.

I'm so happy to hear about his progress! His sats are in a really good range! Wow. I love Danny's personal PT program--what a great picture. I would love to come visit you sometime! Do you want to come to Disneyland with us on May 31? :) I don't know if Tyler can travel, but I wish we had more time in California so we could com visit you!

Who needs physical therapy when you have a big brother and a daddy that does THAT! How impressive! It's so good to see Tyler thriving and gives me something to look forward to with Owen.
