Mr. and Mrs. Pickett

Image
Danny's little sister got married last weekend.  It was such a fun weekend with a lot of family and cousin playing time. Here are some pics.  I am sure more are to come.

Beware of Tyler

Danny took the kids to the gym yesterday to give me a break since my dreaded mastitis has returned.  What a great hubby!  When I asked Tyler if he had fun he responded with this... "It was great!  I put my shoes on and played outside and I didn't scratch anyone." Glad to hear.

Life with 4...

The past 2 months have been an emotional roller-coaster with Tyler. I couldn't envision taking care of him let alone a newborn.  However, Tyler seemed to do better day by day and when the baby came he was so much better. That has made my kids manageable.  They all love the baby.  They love to hold him and give him kisses and are so sweet to him.  I wasn't sure how Kira would do, but she LOVES having a baby.  As for Blake, he is so sweet.  He is the easiest baby.  Sleeps well, makes noises all day long and loves to be held.  We are so blessed.  We shall see how it goes when he wakes up a little bit, but for now I am enjoying how easy a baby is in the beginning.  He is looking more and more like Danny.  He still looks like a little old man and hasn't stopped scrunching his face since he has come. I call him my little, old man.  We sure do love Blake!

Who's the meanest?

Kira tried soothing the crying Blake by rocking his car seat.  I said, "Look at Kira, so inherently nice." Scott and Tyler:  Who's the meanest? A long pause Mommy:  I'm the meanest. Scott:  That sounds about right. Tyler:  I thought Daddy was the meanest! Ugh.

Easter Celebration Office Party

We had a great time at Danny's office party.  Jumpy houses, carnival games, cotton candy, clowns, face painting, magic shows and all of these girls to help with my kids equaled blissful day!

Scott's business plan

Scott and I were riding bikes home from school.  He was commenting on professional lawn mowers and said, "We can put blades on Bessie and then charge five dollars for five yards."  "Scott, you can charge five bucks for one yard.  Then it'll take you twenty minutes and you can do three in an hour.  That's fifteen bucks an hour." He's like, "Yeah, and then we can save up and buy another subwoofer." That's my boy.

One week old

Grammy came to visit last Monday.  Thanks for keeping the kids happy!  The office girls hosted a farewell party for Susan and a shower for Blake.  Thank you!  The kids are back into their media fest  This is how we roll on Bessie  Watching General Conference  Heidi thinks he looks like me All I know is that he is a serious little man.  His first week was good.  Heidi does all the work and sometimes I don't even wake up for the midnight feedings.
